Transient Ventures LLC respects each individual’s right to personal privacy. We will collect and use information through our Web site only in the ways disclosed in this statement. This statement applies solely to information collected at Transient Ventures LLC’s Web site and via Transient Ventures LLC's mobile applications.

Part I. Information Collection
Transient Ventures LLC collects information through our Web site at several points. We collect the following information about primary visitors: IP address of your browser, browser type, pages viewed on our website. If you choose to write to us via web or email, we may collect and store your address and comments for support purposes. We may collect from our applications an encrypted version of your mobile device serial number. This is a unique ID that cannot (to our knowledge) be reverse-engineered to reveal any personal information about you, or the original mobile device serial number. This number is used by our provisioning systems to ensure you have the correct software templates or data on your mobile application.

Transient Ventures LLC does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information.

We collect the following general data that is not personally identifiable information: IP address of originating web browsing, and browser type. We collect demographic data in order to ensure compatibility of browsers with our service and site, and for equipment trend collection.

We do employ cookies. A cookie is a small text file that our Web server places on a user’s computer hard drive to be a unique identifier. Cookies enable Transient Ventures LLC to track usage patterns and deliver customized content to users on our website. Our cookies do not have an expiration date. Our cookies do not collect personally identifiable information.

Part II. Information Usage.
The information collected by Transient Ventures LLC will be used for ensuring compatibility of applications as required by updates, and for transmitting update data to customers via email. Users who provide their email information will receive infrequent announcements on product updates, security issues, and new releases.

Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications, and signing up for any email list is optional and requires the user to actively subscribe to any lists we operate.

We offer links to other Web sites. Please note: When you click on links to other Web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies. Their standards may differ from ours.

Our Web site may offer chats, forums or message boards. Please be advised that information posted in these venues becomes public knowledge.

If our policy on information collection or uses changes, will advise you by updating these privacy terms on this page. We reserve the right to change these policies at any time; please check this page for updates. We will try to update automatic announcements built into any software to inform of the updates, but notice via those mechanisms is not required before update to this policy.

Part IV. Data Storage and Security
Transient Ventures LLC protects user information with the following security measures: SSL encryption of sensitive web pages, SSL encryption of data via our mobile applications, and avoiding storage of personal data on any servers.

Transient Ventures software does not store passwords for third-party systems in a centralized database. Passwords for accounts on third-party systems are stored locally on devices owned by the customer, and are never transmitted to Transient Ventures LLC computers. Security regarding those passwords for third party systems is a matter not the responsibility of nor addressed by Transient Ventures LLC software or policies.
